Grass Cutting Season Begins

As of 1st April the grass cutting season has officially begun and where you pay a gardening charge you can expect to receive the first visit from our contractor Countrywide over the next week or so. Some of you may have already had the first grass cut carried out, as in some areas the grass was particularly long.

Most estates/sites will receive a 2 weekly visit where Countrywide will maintain all communal areas this will include cutting the grass and leaving the grass on site, hedge maintenance, weed management, maintenance of hard landscape areas, Litter collection, shrub bed maintenance, leaf clearance in autumn/winter and minor tree work.

Some sites pay for a weekly visit and have their grass collected.

The grass cutting service will cease at the end of October.

Please remember that the Grounds maintenance service can change due to bad weather.

Any grounds maintenance queries can be emailed directly to Countrywide at;  housing@countrywidegrounds.wales
